Skilled Care at Home for Your Loved One

In Colorado, families have access to skilled care through the Community First Choice (CFC) program. At Entrust Health, we help family caregivers provide this care at home in a safe, familiar environment.

Health Maintenance Activities are tasks typically performed by a CNA, LPN, or RN. Under the In-Home Support Services (IHSS) program, Colorado waives the Nurse Practice Act, allowing families to hire and train trusted caregivers, including family members.

These services are ideal for individuals with chronic conditions, disabilities, or age-related health needs.

What Are Health Maintenance Activities?

Health Maintenance Activities go beyond traditional personal care. If a task is considered skilled and part of a health maintenance visit under IHSS, it may qualify as a Health Maintenance Activity. At Entrust Health, we partner with families to provide these services safely at home, enhancing independence and quality of life.

Health Maintenance Activities are routine, health-related tasks that help support normal bodily functioning when someone is unable to perform them on their own. These can take place in your home or community and may include help with:
